This is one I've had my eye on for a while. The seller agreed to come down in price substantially. The Dakota shoe sellers seem to have preferred the folding hooks. This is a very nice 1890s vintage hook. "High GradeS Shoes"...

Safford Arizona hook

Wasn't expecting to find a third Arizona hook anytime soon, but surprise surprise - a very nice one was added to the collection today.

Eagleson & Co.

Eagleson & Co. was in business in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. This shirt button hook was likely given away at both locations since it is without a city embossed upon it.

This is the older 1890s style fancy hook. Although this is a duplicate, it is in fine condition and the price was right.

This is another duplicate of this 1890s vintage button hook from Los Angeles. These are comparatively common, and come in different styles.

Ely, Nevada shirt button hook

There were two Ely Nevada hooks up on ebay at the same time offered by the same seller. Unfortunately I was only the winning bidder on one of them. Nevada hooks are always tough with so many Nevada memorabilia collectors in competition.

Rosenthal's Portland

Ft. Scott, Kansas Queen Quality Shoes

Glaze and Lewis, Sole Agency, Ft. Scott, Kans. This particular hook style was apparently offered by Queen Quality Shoes to various small shoe stores that carried their brand. The hooks are always the same design/style. "Queen Quality Shoes" being embossed on one side, with the store info on the other. Kansas isn't really Western but once in a while I pick up Nebraska or Kansas hooks if they have a cool town name.
